recommended htacces file permissions [Answered] | Forum

Hi I was wondering what is the recommended settings for the htacces file.

Its probably a general apache question, but I'm new to both?

current I have it set to -rw-r----, which I think is 640.

you mean permission for .htaccess file..?? just leave it 644... not 640.. nothing can do if you change it so...
