Hello,

I am still experiencing [error] in my cPanel Error Log as shown below, are these normal or not?:

My hosting provider say:

"The below errors indicate the absence of an image in your plugins. However it will not affect the functioning of your site."

"You can safely ignore the 404 error you are getting."

The error notification is still on my cPanel Error log, and that is why I am asking a second opinion from you guys.

Rainier, I meant' images. For example, ow_userfiles/plugins/slideshow/slide_image_1_admin-51779f7ca10fe_1366794390.png, does it exist on your server?

All the images were there, ow_userfiles/plugins/slideshow.

Is "Verification" is the folder where your oxwall is installed?

why dont you clear out the easy one first.

Just create a 404.shtml file in your root directory, do you know how to make a simple shtml file?

 

Most of the other ones appear to be possible permission issues, lets start there.  Some of those also appear to be bogus attempts to access a page. But lets take it one step at a time.

 

Go thru the list and if the dir is a valid ow dir and the file exists, then up the permission on that file one step and try it again..  If it is a valid dir and the file is an image, check then other themes for that image, if you cant find it post that image here and i will try to find it for you, i had to find a couple myself.  Eventually you will clear all those out.

 

What you will have left over when you are done is prob the bogus attempts and you can ip deny those.

 

Does that make sense...
