I try to authenticate the ejabberd users against the oxwall database. Ejabberd couldnt use the same table for the friendslist. So everytime a user add, remove or block a friend, oxwall should update the ejabberd_friends_table to. Is it possible to do that in my own plugin or i have to rewrite the friends plugin?

Yes, it can be done by either developing a new plugin or using the Friends plugin that will connect to your custom tables.
