This would be handy with new updates, that the updatescript synchronises the missing language keys to be filled with the english.

No I disagree you must have the possibility to find missing translations
BUT
Oxwall must have a fallback to English
when in php code found that there is a missing translation
get the English words for display
so you will not miss any text on the pages while doing translations
Now you get the text "source" as an internal reference which is diffucult to find
