It sounds to me like your talking to the wrong kinds of hosting companies.  If your doing the free hosting or really really cheap hosting then that is the downside of that business.   Get yourself a decent host that is really not much more than your spending now and you will be so much happier and have little to no issues.

Also if you are having issues with this now using Oxwall, you will certainly have the same issue using any other social script. 

Again i recommend getting a new host, you will be happier.  Shop around, there are many out there what want to earn your business.
