Friends, I have a question: what technologies are best to use for processing photos for documents? I recently tried to take a photo for a foreign passport myself, but the result, frankly speaking, left much to be desired. I used some regular photo editor, but it was difficult to remove the background and adjust it to the required parameters. Has anyone already tried automatic programs for such purposes? I want to understand whether it is worth trusting such tools or is it better to go straight to a photo studio?

Yes, I have encountered the same problem. Regular editors have a hard time adjusting to the requirements, there are many details to consider. I can recommend trying passport photo maker. I used this service myself when I was taking photos for a visa: automatic processing helps remove the background and evens out the light, plus it adjusts to document standards. Personally, it was much easier for me, and the result was suitable without any problems. Try it, it is quite a convenient thing.

Interesting topic, I had never thought before that any special parameters other than size are important for ID photos. It's good that there are such programs now, otherwise you can't always go to photo studios, especially if you need them quickly.
