Does anyone have a pug and how does it do around your birds?
I have a mini aussie and she is great around them but thinking about getting another dog.
Thanks!

Pugs overall are pretty calm in general, and even if it did try to hunt your birdy it likely won’t succeed, because most pugs aren’t very athletic and would rather be a couch potato.

My pug, Bella, was curious about our parrot at first. She'd tilt her head and watch intently, which made for some funny moments. We kept them separated at first, letting them get used to each other’s sounds and smells.Eventually, Bella learned to be calm around the bird, but we always supervised their interactions. Some pugs might have a higher prey drive, so it’s essential to watch for any chasing behavior. If you decide to bring a pug home, lots of positive reinforcement will help with their training. For some great pug resources and tips, check out Pugs Beauty.
