Phillip, can you provide more info showing your issue: screen shots of corrupted images and FB connect avatars?
Your site URL where I can log in and check the issue myself could have helped a lot as well.

my website is www.phillbook.com and fbconnect is working but images are still corrupted

Philip,
1. some folders are missing on your server.
Check whether you have:
ow_pluginfiles/photo
ow_userfiles/plugins/photo
ow_pluginfiles/base/avatars
ow_userfiles/plugins/base/avatars
Check whether corrupted images physically exist within those folders.
2. Make sure that those folders are set to have 777 permissions recuresively.
3. If you are using google maps plugin deactivate it.
4. Might be .htaccess issue: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/5025
5. Check your access/error logs. Do they have anything related to photos?
