Hi Dave,

If your asking whether I would update the video plugin to have a nice default image as opposed to no image, the answer is yes because no thumbnails at all looks a bit weird on the page. 

However, as the original video plugin works just fine and has thumbnails (which is what is happening on my installation), the answer is no. I'm quite content to use the original video plugin and wait for the fix (and, if it has a nice default image, so much the better).

Besides, I'm thinking you guys have enough on your plate at the moment with Oxwall 1.6 : )

I am facing the same problem, the video thumbnail is not generated at all and the space is completely blank.

I have tried to find the solution and reached this thread, but can not find the solution provided by Frank DiPietro because to read "this blog" I need my account to be approved- and my account is pending approval for many days

Can any body provide the solution to this problem which really works
