This maybe classed as custom code modification, but I believe that the below updates to the events plugin may benefit more than just myself. By adding to extra options to the /events/add page will give site admins more options on their site.

- ability to disable "the wall" on events.

- ability to disable "attend this event". Great for adding public holidays or to mark a public occasion.
