I've noticed, on my website and on Oxwall's website, that new users don't get notifications unless they visit and "save" their email notifications preferences.

In fact, when a new user registers, nothing is being added in either the ow_notifications_rule or ow_notifications_schedule table.

Any ideas on how this could be fixed?

Also, on a side note, it would be great if admins were given the possibility to select either "Automatically" or "Immediately" as the default email notification schedule for all users...
