try this go to yoursite.com/index and edit page delete the certain widgets and insert a new html widget add the code of the ad and click done then your ad should show up

i can not see any advertisement widget for this place in advertisement plugin !

Go to www.yoursite.com/index/customize, there will be advertisement widget and you'll be able to place it in the sidebar

i have only RSS , Radio player and Custom html widgets here :(

In this case you need to install advertisement plugin, otherwise you need to use Custom HTML widget

i have that plugin installed !!
