The instant chat module seems to be broken.
I tested it on a fresh install of the current version 1.5.3
Even though the widget etc shows up,
the counter (TotalUserOnlineCount controlled by ajaxim.js) stays at 0
and no active users (ow_chat_list) are shown in the widget.
I also checked the online demo version, which shows the same behaviour with multiple users logged in. (demo.oxwall.org)
Or am I missing something, ex. general visibility setting?

Have you created at least 2-3 friends on demo site? Because it shows only your friends who are online but not all who are on the site at that moment.
