Cron cannot connect to database | Forum

I am tryin to make a social website.Well I go to install my oxwall software.I gets to the finallizing install that you have to create a cron job to run every one minute.All my database username and password is correct because i just use the user root which has no password.Its just doesnt want to connect to database at the cron part at all.Im bout to give up, cause nothing i try seems to work.

here's the manual on cron configuration: http://docs.oxwall.org/install:cron , make sure you indicate the right path to the cron command

Hello Chad,
Firstly, sure you got the right details? what about a port number for your local host?
some MySQL might need localhost:3307 also does the root have access to the DB?
Then what?Again, it shows the same message.My 3306

2) what hosting do you have?
