I am a web dev, i sat down to code my own site several times but since i am a lone and a lot of my freelancer works tie me down i was searching for a social engine platform to save time.

Just downloaded Oxwall playing around with it i kinda like it.

I tried others such as PHPFox but i dont like the code base, SocialEngine is to expensive, and for some reasion Elgg don't know why but gives me the creeps.

Do you think Oxwall would be realiable base for a larger network?
Preformance?
Is the community helpful?

And would be awesome if some of you guys yout tell your experience about it :) thank you
