oxwall URL[Answered] | Forum

Hello,

I've installed oxwall in a subdirectory of my website.

So, the url for end users is http://<mysite>/oxwall/

Is it possible to keep oxwall where it is installed, but my end users to enter http://<mysite>/ ?

Is it something we can do out of the box with oxwall (you can in Wordpress)?

If not, is it possible to achieve that with .htaccess maybe?

Thank you

Olivier

you can do that by using addon domains section in your cpanel, usually there's a video tutorial how to configure it.

You could put this in .htaccess in http://<yoursite>/

Redirect permanent /~ http://yoursite.com/oxwall/

Olivier, have you managed to install your oxwall website into subdirectory or not?
