Hi Masih.yah I already made it not require..but when the user fill up the registration it keeps on telling "please fillup the form properly" which no user can register to my site.

I cut this question in register page
and its fix
for me

yah..on my part it keeps on telling..I just setup my oxwall yesterday..and all of my friends can't register..

I believe that Johnny's issue was local one ( on her/his site only).
Can't reproduce on my own installation.

I am having the same problem.  The documentation I read stated that the Birthday field in the user sign-up profile page, or is it the "join" page....can not  be removed.  So I made sure to uncheck the "required" box and click the "edit" button.  It says it's been updated.

But then I log out and try to join without providing the Birthday and get the same error message, saying it's required.  I've been trying everything to figure it out and am at a loss.

Any ideas?

Can you give a link to your site ?
As well as screen shot of your admin panel, that shows that B-Day is set to be NOT required filed.

Don't know if this will help but when my capture image was not working due to GD library not being enabled I got same error with Birthday. This might be related then?

Wolfy, thanks for sharing. Can't tell whether those are related for sure.
Right now I don't see b-day field on Michael's join page and therefore can't reproduce the issue.

This may sound crazy, but the image shows that the user has entered a space in his captcha code making it seven (7) characters. It's usually six (6) characters and it's normal practice to ignore spaces and capitals in codes such as this. ReCaptcha is different.

Just a thought.
