Why would you want to take responsibilty for that, IMO thats not the purpose of an admin to regulate that sort of info. Your function as an admin should be soley to make sure members do not violate the TOS. Other than that they should be able to put on their profile what the want.
You should not IMO burden yourself with that. If someone complains about someone saying that and it is not true, then you can issue a warning to the user to remove the information.
Its good someone did this finally, but honestly i wish it was a different developer. This developer is NOT known for great customer support just fyi.. I hope he proves me wrong.
He might be ok for a day or two, then he just dissappears for weeks or months and you cant get help for nothing, so good luck... Yep i hope he makes me eat my words, cause thats better for you all if you get help when you need it.
He also pads his comments and only shows the good ones, he deletes anything that is neg on his mods.
Thanks for the input amber or liz, i have reported him to the team members to get with him on doing a better job. I suggest everyone with issues do the same. I dont know why developers leave their test code that is commented out in their files, but im constantly deleting it, it looks unprofessional and there is no reason to have it in there on a final release. He is also bad about constantly mispelling words in the language files, sometimes its a total hack job that i have to fix. I don't mind on free plugins but when i pay $15 for a plugin and he turns his back on me and ignores my messages when im trying to help him, i wont stand for that, its horrible service and i think the team should give him notice, do a better job or go sell your stuff somewhere else. He pads his store with only good comments never anything negative, he insists that you PM him so that noone sees the issue. And he gets his money and then wont help you, or one day he might when he feels like it weeks or months later.
In my personal and professional opinion Kairat Bakitow does not represent what Oxwall is about and he gives all developers a bad name.
Very very troubling...
