Hi,

I'm just wondering how it is possible to restrict members from joining who are 17? I know you can set the range of years you allow on the site, but it still allows someone to join from 1995 that was born oct/nov/dec.... Is there no way to stop that?

If I make it 1994, then people who are actually 18, can't join (born between jan -> now of this year)

Anyway, I know people can just put whatever they want, but I don't want it to seem underage people can join and are on the site...

Thanks

As I mentioned, it is, so if they are born Dec 5th 1995, for example... they are only 17...

I think on that :) I'd really like to just keep a birthdate.

Oxwall should have the option to set a minimum age limit so it would do the calculation automatically.

I agree completely.  And there is no acknowledgement of COPPA laws.  I'm very surprised it's already not incorporated but even more surprised there isn't a plugin for this.
