Link attachment problem from site in windows-1251 | Forum

We encountered a problem with the fact that, when inserted a link in the NEWSFEED field from a site running on a windows-1251, the field appears only in questions signs (???) issues instead of the name of the text and links.


Tell me please, how can I fix it?

Pavel, can you provide link to your site to test it on another browsers etc.

I found the problem. If the site is on HTML5, that is, its code is written: <meta charset="windows-1251"> then adding it to the links displayed NEWSFEED questions, but if the site is written in the code: <meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"/> then there is no problem.Need to know that Oxwall must handle all links correctly.
