hello,

i've been trying to change the logo on oxwall origin theme to mine and have tried everything i got from search including modifying the theme code from my cpanel but everything remains the same. i would like to be able to do this or find out which themes have one click upload options for logo. also i've 'uploaded' my favicon but it still hasn't shown up even after clearing my cache. i have to confess i've also uploaded it from my cpanel but cant still find it.

actually only firefox sees the favicon...

direct upload to /ow/ow_userfiles/plugins/base

i know ts not an image... i would like to replace that with a logo of my site(also as a link to the home page). thanks for helping.

news update : my method work well.. (direct upload favicon.ico to /ow/ow_userfiles/plugins/base)

but i can't update via admin Control panel .. i don't know why but i don't care.. direct upload solve my problem well

After you are done making changes, enable DEV mode in config.php. Refresh your site a couple of times.
Clean your browser's cache.
If this doesn't help, please provide:
1. code you have added to dnd_index.html/general.html
2. path to the place where you have uploaded your logo to
3. how did you upload your logo? Via admin panel>>appearance>>graphics OR directly via FTP/control panel.

FAVICON:

Try cleaning your browser's cache as well.
Which version of Chrome are you using?
Can you give your site URL?

favicon finally popped up on chrome... i'm going to try to work on the logo again though the link posted is a 404. newzconnects.com .Thanks.

ok, i'm back...
i've done everything according to book:cpanel and all i get is a broken link image/no image at all. am i missing anything?

Ikechukwu, ideally following URL should have opened your logo: http://newzconnects.com/ow_userfiles/themes/theme_image_8.png
But instead, "Internal Server Error" is coming out right now.
Which means that for some reason your server denies access to this image or the image is just not there.

Check whether : ow_userfiles folder and ALL folders within it have 777 permissions.
Go to ow_userfiles/themes/ and check whether your logo is physically there.
