Other search plugs have this ability.
It's not a site search if it doesn't search the entire site.

Thanks for your opinion
We decided not to include forum search in this plugin for several reasons:
1 Forum already has its own powerful search option.
2 We tried to make this search option quick and lightweight so the result is shown almost immediately. But forum on some sites may be huge with tons of content and it may harm user experience and produce server overloading as well.

I see.
Would it be possible to include a link instead somewhere in the dropdown search results or in the search page to search the forum automatically?
Then take the url from that result (forum/search?q=searchterm) and apply it to that link?
