I've searched but I didn't find this, so apologies if it has been answered.
I see the option under email notifications to be emailed if someone posts a reply on a forum topic, or if they post on an event wall, but I don't see how to get an email when a new post / event...etc is made.

Ok, but just want to clarify (just in case).
Under email notifications the options are notify when "Someone invites me to an event" or "Someone posts on event walls".
Do you get the notification when another member posts a new event, or only when someone posts on my own event wall (or replies to my own topic)?

Thanks. That stinks though.
That's a definite flaw in the features; unless people know there is activity on the site, there's nothing to remind them to keep coming back.
