Hello.

I need the ability for admin to add users and create their profiles manually, rather than invite them to join.

Anyone working on this?

I solved it with a work-around.

- Login as admin and disable e-mail verification for new users.
- Logoff and register as a new user.
- Login as an admin and approve new user.

May I suggest adding of users by admin as a standard feature in the future.

If you have a feature that, you think, should be added to Oxwall software, you can suggest it at our suggest board: http://oxwall.uservoice.com/forums/13756-ideas-for-oxwall

Thanks for the suggestion Daisy. The link you provided does not work, but I found the right place.

FYI: That post is so old Daisy with no result yet. Many post here that I've been reading are really old and most have NO result yet!

Wilson, you are right, there are a lot of questions related to custom modification. We believe that developers should find the solutions themselves and help to each other. However, if we found the request essential for major developers, we would post the approximate solution. If the request was individual, we would not describe how to perform the modification step by step. Our position is clearly described in this sticky topic: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/6082

Ok daisy…….but that's NOT all of the users (veterans or newbie’s) here at the Oxwall "Support" forum position. Nothing wrong with giving detailed information on how to do a custom modification (that makes the user become more of a veteran). That’s my position and has been clearly demonstrated with both http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/15834 post and http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/15398 post. It's not taboo for me, I enjoy helping freely!

I say this issue has been solved. Lets continue having fun doing custom modification to our running script!
