Two forums on one site. How to do? | Forum

We need to do two forums on one site, one forum is for a special group of users and the another one is open to all users. Special forum was to make easy through the admin panel, but with an open forum is the some problem. Through the admin panel this is no available to set-up second forum and by downloads plugin forum to another folder also not available. Please help, hwo know how this is possible to do?

With some serious plugin tweaking you COULD create a plugin called 2ndforum which in essence will be identical in the install as the 1st one except under the label of 2ndforum THEN once it has been installed you could set up a role so only certain people can see it.

I'm afraid you will need to chat with some smarter people as to how the plugin is installed in the site and how to create the db tables and folders to make sure you don't overwrite the existing one.
