Important general questions on Oxwall 1.6

1. Is there any free/paid theme that autodetects access from mobile and shows full functionality of Oxwall in mobile?

2. Where do I find a list of plugins working fully and smoothly, along with mobile support, for Oxwall 1.6

3. Is there any plugin that will now allows users to set privacy at different levels for an individual blog post or photo or album rather than generic (social nets as well as buddypress, elgg offers this)

4. Is there any large, really large site with massive numbers on users running Oxwall 1.6 on shared/VPS host? Links please. Has Oxwall org itself upgraded to Oxwall 1.6?

Why Oxwall org blogs does not use its own blog system (Oxwall 1.6)?

1. All default theme do that
2. All native plugins, and all plugins which are compatible with 1.6 (probably need to contact plugin developer do make sure)
3. I think this plugin: http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/68
4. we do not keep track of such information. we use wordpress software, because it is mainly intended for blogging and has tools which native oxwall plugin does not have.

Thanks Ross.

1. I meant whether the theme shows the webpage in a "responsive" way adapted to no side-way scroll in mobile - I do not find all themes doing that.

2. Apart from native plugins, I meant, how to filter plugin list as latest, free, paid etc and a tab that says 1.6 - asking individually hundreds of plugin writer whether theirs is 1.6 compatible is difficult

3. I have used http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/68 - it does not offer granular privacy - that is, do not allow a particular photo to be set for friends, while others for public etc

4. Using Wordpress dilutes your brand - what are the things that oxwall blog does now that cannot be done by oxwall blog script itself? I am not sure, but lets drop this point, if it does not strike the right note in your mind. Sorry.

Thanks for your replies. Thanks a lot.

@Ross, @Risha is correct regarding Item 3. The Privacy plugin has limited use because it blocks ALL photos or Blogs associated with a particular user.

Elgg follows Facebook and allows users to selectively choose which photos or galleries the public, friends or other logged on users can see. This is an absolutely essential component for all social networking sites, especially if some material is sensitive and juveniles have access to the site. Not only that, people take photos they want their friends to share, but don't want others to see.

I'm absolutely certain that hundreds, if not thousands of users and potential users will want this feature and I believe it could be made as a stand-alone plugin or incorporated with other plugins.

Both Elgg, Facebook and Dolphin allow the user to mark every option in their profile this way and I await the day Oxwall follows suit. Here's a screenshot from my current Elgg site.
