I just Uninstalled the Photo Plugin and installed it manually

I can't just do that... I have over 8000 photos on my site..

I actually fixed it by logging into firefox instead of chrome and clicking update. 

Vladimir, were you able to resolve this?

Do the search on the forum, this topic has been discussed a bunch of times.

I've been searching for the solution to this, but all I find is this post, that tells me it's been discussed a bunch of times.  Can you please put a link to one of the times it's been discussed?  Thank you

Kyle, probably the redirect url you see in the URL area is cached.
Do you see the message "plugin is up to date after clicking update button?
If so, then you need to do the following:
1. click on the button update with the right mouse button
2. click on inspect element
3 in the console you will the source code of the button, the button will have the url
4. copy that url and paste it in the url area of your browser
5. right after www.yoursite.com/admin/ow_updates/index.php? paste something like this a=a& and hit enter

This should solve the issue.
