no notification for commenting | Forum

I am trying to get comments to send notifications if i comment on someones newsfeed. If i do it under profile and wall, it works but not on main/index newsfeeds. Anyone know why? thanks...likes work fine on main/ index.

Frank, please check the list of available notification preferences here: www.yoursite.com/email-notifications whether a necessary boxes are ticked.

Think now if i write a post and someone lets say Joe comments i get a notification but if i write back after Joe, Joe doesnt get a notify that i commented on a comment he commented on....like facebook
