Hi all,
I deleted my website root completety and i download oxwall 1.6 and i uploaded oxwall 1.6 on my hosting server.
After installation i want restore my members , therefore i delete ow_base_user of my database and i importe the backup of my members " ow_base_user only"
But its not work , the website turn automatically " UNDER MAITENANCE" and i click on the link for Admin connection , but the username and password of my admin account of my backup database not work.
the message" unknow password"

Ask for new password for your account and you well be sent password reset to your email address

just put a notice on your main page that all members need to click on password reset and put link to it on page .Due to you upgrading your website ,and for security reasons

also send mass email out to all members asking them to click on password reset

My website display only username and not the real name :( i configured with admin panel and its not work

make shore the pasword reset is working try on your account first
make shore you get the email
the link is clickable in the email
and make shore you can actualy reset the passwords
in 1.53 it did not work and i posted a fix in a forum somewhere here lol
and come to think of it i have upgrade to 1.6 so i better go and check if still works on my site

it well send them an email with password ,you members well know there user names so don't worry

lol it not send them there passwords it send them a link and a code and it does not work check ur self first try and reset ur own password

Mine works ok ,when I ask for password reset it sends me the code to my email to reset

dam is like bashing ya head against the wall
it does not work and can not work unless u change the code
try and put the code the email sends u try and click the link to does not work with out change the code as soon as the script makes the code to send it makes the code invalid so it can not and wont work
why in the hell am i waste my time try to help u

maybe because i started with 1.53
did you start with earlier version ?
1.53 cancels the reset code as soon as it makes it so when you try put the code in it says code invalid
and full install of 1.6 does the same invalid code

wow that strange i tryed install 4 times 1.53 and all same result
and first 1.6 same result and the new 1.6 same all get invalid password
and i searched the forums and few ppl have same problem

my problem could be a conflicting plugin i never did try it with out any 3rd party plugins installed
