BlabChat Integration Help ?? | Forum

Open

Hello Folks,

I've been trying to integrate blab chat - http://hot-things.net/ into my oxwall for some time now with no luck, I was wondering if you guys could possibly help me here as when people come to my oxwall site (Radio Station btw) they have to login seperatly for which you can imagine is a bit of a pain.

Now I've seen this site http://elementscommunity.org/chat/blab.php somehow (not oxwall) so users automatically login as a guest and maybe this is a secondary thing I could do if i knew how but... Primary I would love to have integration to the oxwall user database and hoping somebody reading this could possible help out.

Looking forward to any replies and help and thanks in advance for your time.

Thank You

++ Admin have been trying for a very long time, (late reply to this thread) unfortunately the Sessions from Oxwall are not compatible and not understood from the blab developers even though they say "on request" this was requested by me and many others months before I made the above post.

Thanks

I should also like to see if this integration is possible.
It works really well with forum scripts like SMF - maybe there is a way of bridging from Oxwall into a forum , then on to Blab ?

I reviewed the software and it looks great; did anyone ever figure out how to make it single sign-on integration yet?

Thanks,

Fred

you could edit the sign in code on blab chat to match oxwalls, so members that log into oxwall or logged in chat and iframe it onto a page .

its only a few lines of code you need to edit ,but you need someone with php knowledge to do this far you.

Hi,

It is possible but also need to edited the htaccess in Oxwall CMS since it explicitly make any php ending document be parsed by the Oxwall CMS, I had that same problem when I tried to connect Oxwall CMS with my chat system based in Node.js and Memcached..

Once you get your apache to parse php files as normally would you call Oxwall required init files to get the user object..

Like example : http://yoursite.com/chat/oxwalChat.php ;
