Am I missing something or is Oxwall limited | Forum

I've been toying with the current version of Oxwall and don't mind it, but I'm either missing something or it requires a plugin that I can't find.

First off is I'd like to give posters the option of bold, italic, underlined in News posts so they can obviously highlight important bits of their news posts but can't find the option to allow that nor can I find a plugin. Is this do-able?

Next up is if I have a look at my browsers history I see 'my site name - Social Networking' How do I replace the 'Social Networking' with something more suitable to my site?

Last but probably not least, when a news post is created I would like that one piece of news to be able to be shared to twitter, facebook etc similar to the way it's done in Wordpress. Is there a plugin that does this?

Also, in the news post all it shows is the users avatar and name, can I add text in the heading so it would look like (Avatar) Username - "just posted this rant." or what ever?

Cheers

Carl

You are right, there is no text formatter panel in the Newsfeed and comments. This requires the code modification to add this panel.

You can easily change this value via Admin Area > Settings > Language > simply search for the 'Social Networking' value.

You can search for the existing plugin on the Oxwall Store: http://www.oxwall.org/store/search/plugin?q=social

This requires the code modification for each plugin. For example, if you want to add this string to the item about the new added video, you should make changes for the Video plugin. We strongly recommend not to modify the existing plugins files since it will lead to the changes loss if you decide to update them.
