+1 Leon :) also Kelvin you might take a look at your ftp account, it does matter where it is pointing.
If you want to set up ftp to do updates without having to use your cPanel login you can do so by following this guide as well.

Hello,
I've the same problem. I installed pureftpd on a debian VM.
The home of the FTP (also user owner of all Oxwall) is the same of Oxwall folder. I can check it by using Filezilla, and files are in 775, so the owner can do anything but from Filezilla nor by using the Admin Panel.
Please I need help.
