I just tried to install a couple of different themes and am having an issue with the content boxes on the main page - i.e. Photos, Blogs, Newsfeed, etc. In the theme demo and pictures, each of those sections has a border around the entire section but on my page they don't. I've tried different themes and themes from different sellers and they all have the same problem. Hence, this makes me think I have some setting wrong.
Any ideas?

Yes, probably those widgets are not wrapped in the box. Please go here: www.yourdomain.com/index/customize Now all your widgets will have a settings button in the right upper corner as a gear icon, click on it and tick the checkbox "Wrap in box" If it is not what you're talking about, please provide us a screenshot.
