What if you accidentally saved the Free as being empty/Blank and now it's UN-editable?



You see w/Out it being in link-form/Blue it is now UN-Clickable making it so you can't edit/Re-Name it...

could be solved through language or editing in database I would assume

Right, and I looked for this, couldn't find, thus the reason I sought help here..

Solved: Was able to manipulate/Insert a clickable link via firebug then click on that link to edit/Title to my needs and save,,, wallah...

Krunch, just before you solved it, I tried to emulate the problem without success. Oxwall kept inserting a space so that the field wasn't blank. In the meantime, it seems user role titles are written to the language file. How Oxwall makes use of them is beyond me however.

Have a look at ow_pluginfiles/base/lang_1.php and look for:

'base+authorization_role_xxx

The file is created during install and mine is 3000 lines long with only two members. It seems to hold all the language settings for all plugins.

 Yes it was base+authorization_role_wqewq, same one I was able to add a link to using firebug,,, then it became clickable for me, closed firebug, clicked on the temporary link I made and was able to change/Edit from there and it took proper, thanks for the input John.

I by default have 4K+ members on my site as user FREE by default, then i added a new user role called premium, so i want to promote them all to Premium Role is there a way i can do that with one click instead of going to each profile as it is time consuming ?

@Webster Simply rename 'Free' to 'Premium'
