You can't update newsfeed without updating the platform itself, you need to change you plugin version in the plugin.xml file or restore you back up, then update your platform, and then and only then update your plugins.

you need to change you plugin version in the plugin.xml file, then go to phpmyadmin find ow_base_plugin table and change the build for newsfeed plugin as well or restore you back up, then update your platform, and then and only then update your plugins.

I've done it but there is still another problem : invalid theme content type in "m_master_page" (from ow_debug)

Are you referrring to this error: Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'. ?

It has nothing to do with the software. Contact your hosting provider support to resolve it.

Ok, contact the hosting provider support team and send them this error, they should fix it, as I already noted the message you get is not related to the software.
