i just download oxwall 1.2.3 (not update pack)
and copy it on root
and get this errror

I think there is a problem with the 1.2.3 package.
Hopefully someone can help us out!
I have the same problems. I get the following error. It's similar to your problems.

this is a problem all over - i still can't believe it was released in this state.
I would also realy like to hear back from people who have sucessfuly installed this new version mainly :
What OS is the server ?
What HTTPd server is it running ( what version )
Which version of PHP ?
what PHP settings are on/off from defult standard ..
something like this :
Debian 6
Apache 2.0
PHP Version: 5.3.3-7+squeeze1 (Zend: 2.3.0)
Database: MySQL 5.1.49-3

i use latest version xampp
old version's of oxwall work really fine
on this xampp
but this bug fixed (i dont think so ) pack not work there

this is a problem all over - i still can't believe it was released in this state.I agree. The 1.2.3 fresh install package is completely broken. I hope Oxwall will fix this problem soon. It isn't a very good welcome for new users...

I haven't had any problems yet - knock on wood! I'm constantly backing up and then doing the updates.
