I need to manually update a couple of plugins as ftp does not

seem to work.

So just copying the latest version of plugin into the folder and reinstalling help or is there a correct way to install plugins ??

I wish oxwall could update plugins like wordpress and drupal without ftp

using direct upload ???

There is no option to directly upload the plugin via Admin pages.

You can directly upload the zip files to ow_plugins directory in the server. Unzip the zip file to override the existing plugin files.

Then go to admin's plugin dashboard for the updates to complete and confirm.
