Dear,

I installed beta5 its much better now then before..
I finished it installing smoothly..
I encountered few of these bugs during installations of plugins on localhost..

And this is the bug i found specially for the label - string - I found that it's because of this plugin

Would you post here content of your phpinfo(); ? Also what version of XAMPP do you have?
