In general the newsfeed plugin is quite good, but when someone sends a friend request, even if the other person doesn't answer to the request, the requester is able to read all news of the person whose friendship has been requested, that's a BIG issue.

Also, once the friendship has been created your new friend can see the complete your complete newsfeed from the beginning of times and not from the moment you become friends. That's another improvement that can be done.
