Im having problems sending mass mail and activity notifications.
SMTP is working fine and cronjobs too.
I set the Default status of Notification Preferences to Immediatelly.

Seems like you cron jobs is not working properly. See if you have mails stay in the ow_base_mail table when you do the mass mail, if they are there, that means cron jobs is not working.

What to do if there are no mails in the ow_base_mail table ?
I tried sending mass mail and some users registered as well and dinn't get the mails. The table in database is empty.

Verification mails which are sent after registration are sent directly without using cron.
So there must be something wrong with your mail server.
As to the mass mail not working this means your cron jobs are not properly configured.

Also check the tutorial how to configure your cron jobs properly. I recommend you to check the section how to run your cron locally: https://docs.oxwall.org/install:cron
