Remove welcome message on homepage?[Answered] | Forum

I know this question has been asked and an answer given but I can't find the following text anywhere using the language search feature or looking through all the sections?

Welcome to our new site! Feel free to participate in our community!

It has to be somewhere to be edited!

Can someone help me out?

look in admin /setting/languages and search for " welcome to our community" and you well find it ,then just edit the words

Thanks you for your answer and it's correct that "welcome to our community" comes up when you search for it! But if you search for what it say on my main page it says "Welcome to our new site! Feel free to participate in our community!" and if you search for "welcome to our new site" nothing comes up! I have found every single welcome message there is in the languages section but not Welcome to our new site! Feel free to participate in our community!

it is a widget on your front page, click customise, and you should be able to edit it or just close the widget :)
