Put the site into maintenance mode and now cannot log in.
When I click on 'link' instead of getting the log in page it just returns Me to the maintenance page.
How can I correct this please?

Log into your MYSQL panel (phpMyAdmin etc) and take it out of maintenance mode that way.

Hello Oxwall Team,

I used to have a "mail not sending out" problem, which has now developed into a full-blown "locked-out of site problem".

Since I wanted to troubleshoot the mail function which didn't work, I suspected a problem maybe with Google. So I changed the administrators email from the google mail to some other mail, but since the mail function doesn't work, I could not verify the new address, meaning I am totally locked out of the site. Any suggestions?! :(

Thanks for your help.

Hardy

P.S. Whenever I go to the sign-in page and enter my credentials, I shortly see the site and then it goes back to the email verification page.

So I'm in a catch-22 here.

Hardy, you may disable "Confirm email" setting via database. Go to your phpmyadmin to ow_base_config table and delete "1" (just left this field empty) from the "confirm_email" value field.

Hi Taissa,

That worked. Thank you very much, but now I'm on to my other problem which I had with the Oxwall site. The email not sending out problem.

I went according to your instructions and the jobs get cleared from the database with the cron job.

But neither the PHP mailer nor the SMTP seems to be working.

Do you have any more troubleshooting for me?

Thanks again for your help.

Hardy
