after the installation you have to edit your .htaccess file in your root directory so that it looks like this

UPDATE: You not have to do this changes if you use a new version. Just one change for advanced editor options like smilies

you can install it over the admin backend. the ow_static content should created automatically. or you can unzip and copy the tinymce directory to ow_plugins/ and install/activate it through the admin backend

Thanks Honsa for the repply. I've done that " unzip and copy the tinymce directory to ow_plugins/ and install/activate it through the admin backend"
and yes static was updated automatically. I changed the htaccess in the ow directory. (at the root)

But it tinymce does'nt show off anywhere in pages or blog post.
I guess there should be. For pages it s still html/owml and for blogs it 's basic B/Italic/U like here.

I'm in localhost so i reboot the server. No Changes.

Any idea ?

At the moment it just shows on forum posts I forgot to mention that, but it is easy to change it that it appears on all textareas

You can test it if you edit the ow_plugins/tinymce/init.php:

find:

mode : "exact",
elements : "post_body",

replace with:

mode : "textareas",

Thanks for the answer but it does'nt seems to work.
I updated init.php with textareas, and a second time comenting mode : exact.
I tryed on pages, events. nothing new

Anyway why it is not on "any"  kind of pages for admin ?

Also i wonder why when i create a new page there is no link to "customize" or an easy way to update it. ( i would love some more "in-line" editing/front office editing on oxwall by the way)  But maybe i should start an another topic.

I don't know what permission are required for this directory but cause i'm testing on localhost so that should'nt be the issue.. (but that could bring an another one).

I just set up a brand new install with softaculos so i'll try there and report.

Hi Hansa,

I tried replacing  with:mode : "textareas"

and it is working like charm on all pages.

However if you can help. i want a toggle button to switch from
wysiwyg to tinymce & vice versathis is described here

http://www.tinymce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=436
http://www.tinymce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1317

Is it possible to implement it somehow.

Also if possible the default to be set to  wysiwyg

Thanks in advance

Ok this should be possible. I wish to make this plugin working without touching the .htaccess file first, if you got some input like this youre welcome.
