Very new to Oxwall,  but wanting to create a plugin that I can get to appear anywhere I want it especially in the side bar(s)

Followed the example to create a basic plugin (does nothing at the minute apart from say I'm a plugin :) ), before I go any further with this I want to have it appear in a side bar

How do I do this?
