Transparant GIF avatars always shown against white backgroud | Forum

I do not get this.
When I upload a transparent GIF as an avatar, the avatar should display against a transparent background.
It never does.
The avatar is always shown against a white background.

See my current transparant GIF avatar of Lawrence of Arabia -- shown always against a white background.

How can I solve this?

Hello
Transparent images doesn't supported. You can upload only non-transparent images.
