Hello,
I have landed on the CMS only last night and finding the CMS pretty interesting.
One thing I would like to know is, if there is any doc regarding theme development ...
I have coded on Elgg before and I wanted to code the same way, with my own php codes throughout the site. I downloaded a few themes and changed their css but it didn't take any effect.

So, I was wondering if you could give me a little bit of help to get started.
I hope OxWall, being richer out of the box than Elgg the way I have seen the both could go a long way and I would like to be a part of the journey. :)

Let's forward the message of love, unity, acceptance and tolerance ...

for the theme, you have to edit the ones in /static/themes..

(don't ask me why but there must be a reason )
------------------------------------------------------
if you got some thinking about Elgg vs Oxwall I would
be happy to read them..

Regards

Hello
Such theme development manual will be ready soon. Before making any changes in theme's files, you need to enable DEV_MODE in ow_includes/config.php file. With enabled DEV_MODE, all theme's files will be recompiled with every page refresh and all your changes will be applied :)
