I really like this plugin, but when your forum is getting large, there is a big performance drawback on you database. I made an investigation of the issues here:

I've also proposed a solution to solve some of them, but I think the used database queries, require some re-thinking.
So I am dropping this message here, to get it noticed. When I contacted the plugin author by e-mail I got no response at all.

I checked the 1.7 version update, but no performance fixes are implemented there. My SQL server was running like mad again, so be aware you need to apply the performance fixes in 1,7 again!!!
