I am having this problem as well. I can get into Admin and all back end pages, no front end access. Attached is the raw access log

Guys,

Re-install your back ups for now so your site it not down for your users. Then when you get your answer try a fresh install on a TEST site to see if all is working RIGHT...then upgrade on your main site.

I was going through the entire 1.6 code to see if I could fix all bugs and send that list to the oxwall developers but held off until 1.7 came out because I expected a lot more bugs.

After clearing browser cache, I reloaded the site. It works...until you log in, then NOTHING is accessable, e500.php all over the place. Re-cleared the cache, reloaded the site. Running until you try to look at an individual's profile, e500 again but you can go back to the home page and browse. 

Thinking it must have something to do with the cookies or credentials. Once you're logged in, it goes all to hell.

oxwall has too many flaws. i'm trying to clean up the mess and post the changes hopefully soon.

Guys, can you please set 777 permissions of ow_log folder and see if the problem persists?

Nope.. Same thing. Getting this on Fire Fox Error: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

you need to deactivate all your plugins before you do this update and change theme to default until after update.You have done update without first deactivating all your plugins .

FYI; uploading the update manually and navigating to yoursite.com/ow_updates fixes the problem completely.I uploaded everything, not only the plugins folder.

Gary, first of all, thank u very much. I re-updated as per your instructions and everything works perfect now. I also made some coding changes to the core files which makes the site run super fast. I will update everyone with changes soon when I have time.
