Forum Plugin import error | Forum

I have search the forum but cant find any related problems listed.

I have uninstalled my forum and wanted to re install it but now I am getting this problem and it doenst want to install, can any one please help and tell me whats wrong and how to fix it.

look in your phpinfo if the ZIP function enabled,


ask your Provider if there have change anything in PHP (maybe a upgrade etc.) and forget to compile PHP with --enable-zip

Facetester,

Thats not the problem Zip is enabled for I imported other plugins no problem its just the Forum plugin that gave me the problem

ok.. from the info that you uninstalled the forum-plugin,
please look in the folder /ow_static/plugins/

see you there the subfolder "forum" ?

Yes there is a folder called forum and in the folder a nother folder called js thats it

when in the /ow_static/plugins/ show a subfolder "forum" the uninstall is not working correct.

rename the folder "forum" inside /ow_static/plugins/ e.g forum-check

Then try to install the Forum-Plugin over the Admin Panel "available Plugins".

Facetester, now I am faced with a new error when installing the plugin

Invalid FTP attributes! Provided user doesn't have permissions to overwrite files.

Please check via phpinfo if the "safe_mode" is off (in the folder where oxwall installed)

have your
/ow_static/
/ow_static/plugins/
/ow_static/themes/

the CHMOD 777 (complete write able) ??
