My settings are set to my friends only but after logging out I can still see my text posts. The photo privacy settings work perfectly.

settings are my friends only but v1.7 they show up in the main feed. I am not sure is this is by default ?

demo account is marked friends only but when you log out messages show in main feed

My friends only, so after I log out there should be no messages in the main feed they should be private

You post something in the main newsfeed and set view my profile to my friends only is it correct?

This is how it works, post in the main newsfeed has nothing to do with that privacy rule.
